Hello all,

X-Seti and myself have moved this board over to my web-host, the same host that hosts the SOL-O site http://www.gtasolonline.com. The forum was previously hosted by X-Seti down throughout the years, but due to problems with both hardware and bandwidth on his end, it became less feasible to continue doing so, and over the last few days we have been migrating all of X-Seti's web-services.

Everything has appeared to go well, but some of the older visitors to this site will notice that the primary domain that you access it from is now linked to http://www.gtastateofliberty.com, no longer http://www.ukscifi.net/gtasol (although I will stick a redirect in there so nobody reaches a dead end).

Bearing in mind the change of domain and paths, a lot of database entries needed to be fixed in bulk. I took care of this, but it's possible that I could have missed some. If there is any trouble, any unusual bugs, anything at all, please report them here. Like I said, everything appears to have gone to plan, but it's hard to find some of the more discreet bugs that could be lurking around. Whatever the case, they will be small and won't affect overall performance and usability.

Lastly, due to a high amount of spammers of late, another reason for the move to my web-host was due to having an adequate SMTP mail server that PHP can use for its mail function, so as of the move, registration activation emails are now being sent out. Anybody attempting to register an account will from now on need to activate it by email before being allowed access. This was not previously possible and allowed the wrong sort of users far too easy a means to register. While this won't outlaw spam bots and human spammers completely, every little bit helps.

Thank you for reading.
